By now you all know that I love activity dates because they are so much less awkward and therefore so am I. I'm a member of the Museum of Modern Art and I definitely don't visit enough.
While Sam and I moseyed by Diego Rivera murals and Picassos and some weird ultra-modern sculptures that we both agreed we just "don't get", we got to know each other a little better.
Sam has that chill and laid back vibe (he grew up on the west coast), which I really liked. He also has studied Improv so we talked about that in detail. He is funny and sarcastic and not too serious. After the museum we grabbed Indian food for dinner.
I didn't really feel like we were on a date. Maybe because it was mid-afternoon and we were sober? Maybe because it had to be a short date (barely 3 hrs) because I had to get to my Improv show? It was a very comfortable enjoyable time getting to know someone new. Unsure about chemistry but I'll save that for the second date.

2nd Date: We saw an improv show in January 2012, then at at a lovely, semi-fancy Italian restaurant. More date-like in practice, but my heart wasn't feelings anything but a friendly vibe. He either felt the same or could sense that because after he emailed after the date something friendly but never asked me out again.
